What we collect

We collect account details such as your email, display name, authentication records, imported trades, journal activity, usage information, feedback, and service logs. Stripe processes payments; TaipTrade does not store your full card number.

API keys

Provider keys you connect are encrypted at rest. We display only a short hint, do not include keys in normal responses, and delete a key when you disconnect it. You are responsible for connecting only keys you are authorized to use.

How we use information

We use information to provide journaling, analytics, coaching, research, market brief, support, security, and billing services. AI processing may use OpenAI, Perplexity, Gemini, and user-selected BYOK providers. Transactional email may use Resend.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, process payments, deliver email, provide requested AI features, or comply with law.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, licensing, and accounting purposes. Contact us to request account deletion or specific data deletion, subject to those obligations.

Cookies and sessions

TaipTrade uses essential cookies and server sessions for authentication, security, and preferences. We do not use those cookies to sell advertising profiles.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your credentials and notify us of suspected compromise.

Children

TaipTrade is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version. The updated date above identifies the current version.
